If space is a concern for you then this bed would be perfect. Speaking from personal experience our son's room isn't that large, but he loves to read so has asked for a chair in his room. Thinking from a purely functional standpoint this toddler bed makes sense. We also love the fact that once our children grow out of their toddler bed's they'll be able to use the bed as a chair.
